The internet is buzzing with absolutely Irie Sensations as Reggae On The River 2013 continues to announce their lineup for this year’s festival with a promise of more big names to come.
A week ago, the Mateel Community Center, producers of ROTR, announced their “Hot Breaking Artists” for this year’s event: Chronixx & Zincfence Band, Nkulee Dube, and Paula Fuga! Today, ROTR 2013 announced the “Global Grooves” part of their lineup as well: Les Nubians, Sierra Leone’s Refugee All-Stars, and Blue King Brown!!
People all over the world are very excited about this year’s event as Reggae On The River 2013 returns home to its original French’s Camp venue in Piercy, CA. After years of having to use Benbow State Recreation Area as the interim home for the festival, which did not allow festival attendees overnight camping onsite for that “True Reggae Experience”, the MCC is more than happy to have worked themselves back to their home base at French’s.
Gearing up for what could possibly be one of ROTR’s biggest years ever, the MCC has wisely advised potential festival attendees that only 6000 tickets will be sold for this year’s event, with 2500 of those tickets being for early arrival on Thursday, August 1st. Onsite camping has been included in this year’s ticket pricing.
This all means one thing: If you want to go to Reggae On The River 2013, you better buy your tickets as soon as possible or you just might find it to be sold out before you know it.
